NEET UG Counselling 2021: MCC Starts Registrations Process

The online registration process for NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) undergraduate counselling will begin from 19 January 2022. The four rounds of the NEET UG counselling are termed as: All India Quota (AIQ) Round 1, All India Quota (AIQ) 2, All India Quota (AIQ) mop-up round and All India Quota (AIQ) stray vacancy round. All these are for allotment of students into Under Graduate (MBBS/BDS) seats. The seats will be allotted for eligible and qualified candidates under 15 percent AIQ in participating Government Medical or Dental Colleges in India. Steps to Register for NEET UG Counselling 2022:

Step-1 – Go to the official website
Step-2 – Once the link is available, go to UG counselling tab and then click on to the registration link.
Step-3 – You need to login using your NEET UG Roll Number and password correctly
Step-4 – After that, you need to complete the registration process and pay the required fee.
Step-5 – Ultimately, submit and keep a printout of the registration form.

According to the rules set by the MCC (Medical Counselling Committee), fresh registrations for candidates will only be done in round 1, 2 and mop-up rounds. The choice filling will commence on 20th January and will conclude on 24th January. Similarly, the choice filling or locking can be done from 4:00 pm to 11:55 pm on the last day of registration.

After that the process of seat allotment will take place from 27 to 28 January 2022. As per the schedule given by the MCC, the NEET UG round 1 seat allotment result will be announced on 29 January 2022. Moreover, those candidates who are applying for the round 1 of NEET postgraduate counselling should note that online registration process will close on 24 January (12:00 pm).
