Message From Principal
Dear Students and Parents,
Pre-University Course is rightly recognized as the launching pad of one’s career. Academic and non-academic performance at this level is going to inevitably determine one’s professional and personal trajectory. At Canara Vikaas PU College, we are earnestly conscious of this and curricular and co-curricular ambience of the college has been set to meet the challenges.
Modern education field has become highly demanding and competitive. One has to be prepared not only for the course one is pursuing at the moment but also for the many competitive and qualifying entrance examinations ahead. At Canara Vikaas, we are committed to extend a very strong and competent helping hand to guide the students through these challenges providing quality coaching while a balancing and supporting environment is sustained throughout.
As envisaged in our vision, we believe that the education here will transform your life through compassion and innovation empowering you to become worthy citizens of our country.

Learning
begins here
Vikaas Pre-University College came into existence in June 2012. The first batch of students consisted of 183 students from different parts of Karnataka. In a matter of 5 years the number of students has gone up to 900. Among these 700 reside in our hostels. The college caters to the Science and Commerce streams.
It has the required infrastructure and manpower to support its quest for excellence. The teachers are trained to empower students to explore their potential to the fullest.
Core Values
The college aims at the transformation of its students into academically accomplished, emotionally balanced, ecologically sensitive and socially responsible persons to empower them to effectively engage in society building.
The college aims at imparting meaningful education where the four spheres of personality – physical, intellectual, spiritual and the emotional – work harmoniously towards the upliftment of fellow beings in the society.
The college believes in inculcating humane values which in turn become the principles of living with which students can implement the products of practical thinking and creativity

With the experience of managing a Physiotherapy College and inspired by the success, the Trust sought to reach out to the larger interests of the society. There was an acute shortage of quality Pre-University Colleges in Mangaluru; at the same time, parents from other parts of Karnataka wanted their children to study in Mangaluru. To cater to both needs, the Trust started Vikaas Pre-University College.
VIKAAS EDUCATION TRUST
The Trust comprises members who are qualified, competent and committed to the field of education. With a vision to provide quality education for today’s globalized and competitive world they set up Vikaas Group of Institutions.
VIKAAS GROUP OF
INSTITUTIONS
Vikaas Education Trust established Vikaas Group of Institutions in the year 1993, and as a maiden venture started the College of Physiotherapy in the same year. The college offers a Bachelors Degree course.
