Vikaas Group of Institutions, Mangaluru, organised a blood donation camp on its campus in association with Wenlock District Hospital, Mangaluru on 26th January 2021. Chief Guest of the programme, Dr. U. T. Ifthikar Ali, Professor of Physiotherapy and Syndicate Member of RGUHS, Karnataka, inaugurated the camp in the august presence of Sri. Krishna J. Palemar, Chairman, Vikaas Education Trust, who presided over the function and Dr. Sharath Kumar Rao J., Senior Specialist and Blood Bank Officer, Regional Blood Transfusion Centre, Mangaluru.
Around one hundred students of Vikaas College of Physiotherapy, Vikaas First Grade College and Vikaas Pre-University College turned up enthusiastically to be a part of the blood donation drive. Sri. J. Koragappa, Secretary, Vikaas Education Trust, Sri. Suraj Kumar Kallya, Trustee, Vikaas Education Trust, Sri. Parthasarathi Palemar, Coordinator, Vikaas Group of Institutions, Dr. Manjula A. Rao, Dean, Vikaas Group of Institutions, Dr. Ajay Thakur, Principal, Vikaas College of Physiotherapy, Mrs. Ayshwarya K., Principal, Vikaas First Grade College, and Mrs. Mohana R., Vice Principal, Vikaas Pre-University College, were present on the occasion along with students and staff of Vikaas Group of Institutions.
Dr. Sunjyoth H. S., Assistant Professor, Vikaas College of Physiotherapy, welcomed the gathering and hosted the function and Dr. Sridevi Kini, Tutor, Vikaas College of Physiotherapy, proposed vote of thanks.
