The management of Vikaas Group of Institutions visited the Vice Chancellor, Dr. P. S. Yadapadithaya and appreciated Mangaluru University for approving Diploma in Hostel Management, an industry-oriented course, as its new initiative. It was Vikaas Group of Institutions which originally proposed this course to the University. The idea originated from the dearth of qualified and equipped wardens to meet the diverse and challenging demands of the job. While there are well-qualified teachers to meet the academic requirements in the institutions, hostels remain a place of conflict and strain owing to the mismanagement by the wardens.
Vikaas Institute of Hostel Management, Mangaluru, a new initiative of Vikaas Group of Institutions, is offering the Diploma in Hostel Management (DHLM) course in the coming academic year itself.The institution announced one hundred percent placement assistance for all the students who enroll in the first batch.
